NAPLAN represents an annual nationwide assessment for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. The assessment is designed to evaluate the range of skills necessary for every student to thrive and progress in school and beyond. NAPLAN is comprised of 4 assessments which cover students’ knowledge of reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as numeracy. The assessments are usually run during the second week of May each year.
