No. All that is required is a good internet connection, as well as microphone and webcam functionality. Our online sessions do not require an account for access.

Once session bookings are confirmed, you will receive a link with instructions detailing how to connect to your sessions.

Of course! We offer discounted sessions for siblings or when multiple sessions are booked in advance. Please contact us for more information.

Yes! Multiple sessions are discounted $5/session when 4 or more sessions are booked in advance.

If you wish to cancel a session, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session for a full refund. As per our Student Agreement, if notice is not received within 24 hours, no refund will be given.

If you wish to reschedule a session, please contact No Nonsense Tutoring at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled session, and we will reschedule the session at a time/day agreed by both the student and tutor. As per our Student Agreement, if notice is not received within 4 hours, no refund will be given.

Sessions run for a duration of 52 minutes. If requested, we also offer shorter or longer sessions depending on your needs.

Yes, you will have the same tutor during each session. Once scheduling is confirmed for the first session, we will choose the most suitable tutor for you. However, there may be some circumstances during which your tutor may be unavailable, and a temporary tutor will be allocated. Please note, we have different tutors for primary, secondary and senior sessions.

All our tutors have passed a 3 step review progress, which involves validating their tutoring experience and credentials. Tutors have been selected based on their educational experience, academic background, knowledge of the K-12 Australian curriculum, personality, motivation and reliability. Every tutor has a valid working-with-children clearance.

Our tutors are a combination of experienced educators, university graduates with relevant degrees and university students studying disciplines such as advanced mathematics and physics.

Absolutely! Our tutors will deliver personalised learning sessions during which relevant topics areas can be focused on. For example, during an  English session, spelling or reading can be the main focus for the duration of the session.

Of course not! We will provide all the necessary materials, worksheets and content to ensure key concepts and ideas from the National Australian English, Mathematics and science curricula are covered. Our tutors will also identify and address any knowledge gaps you may have.
